Ammon News - President of the Yarmouk University, Nabil Hailat, late Wednesday discussed with the cultural advisor at the Yemeni cultural attache in Amman, Qibla Muhammad Saeed, ways to enhance scientific, academic and cultural cooperation between the two sides.
During the meeting, Hailat stressed the university's keenness to strengthen cooperation with the Yemini side in various domains, and to receive further Yemeni students from different degrees and academic specialties.
He added that Yarmouk seeks to activate student exchange programs, visits of faculty members with various Arab and international universities, support research projects and encourage the attraction of international schemes that benefit the university and society.
The Yemeni cultural advisor praised the scientific reputation that Yarmouk enjoys in various scientific fields, indicating the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two sides, especially in light of the difficult circumstances the world is witnessing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
