Ammon News - Real estate trading volume rose during the first quarter 2021 by 34%, compared to the same month in 2020, according to the Department of Land and Survey’s (DLS) monthly report.
Apartment sales during the same month rose by 19 per cent, while sales of parcels of land surged by by 39 per cent, compared with the same period of 2020, the DLS figures revealed.
Meanwhile, the trading volume of Jordanian real estate market dropped by 9% during the first third of 2021, compared to the same period in 2019, reaching about JD1.34 million.
Moreover, trading volume in Jordan's real estate market dropped by 21% during April of 2021, compared to the same month of 2019, the report showed.
During the January-April period 2021, value of revenues went down by 28%, amounting to JD55.26 million, compared to the same period in 2019,
In April 2021, value of revenues also plunged by 39%, amounting to JD12, 65 million, compared to the same month of 2019.
