In a press statement put out in Sunday, the media spokesman of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said a person, who sustained gunshot injuries, has died in Ma'an city, some 218 kilometres (135 mi) southwest of the capital Amman. The spokesperson attributed the shooting incident to a dispute that erupted between the two men, adding that the deceased's body was evacuated. The shooter was arrested and the crime firearm was in his possession, the official pointed out.

Ammon News - Police has arrested a suspect, who fired live bullets and killed a person in his twenties in the southern Ma'an governorate.

In a press statement put out in Sunday, the media spokesman of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said a person, who sustained gunshot injuries, has died in Ma'an city, some 218 kilometres (135 mi) southwest of the capital Amman.

The spokesperson attributed the shooting incident to a dispute that erupted between the two men, adding that the deceased's body was evacuated.

The shooter was arrested and the crime firearm was in his possession, the official pointed out.
