Ammon News - Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya Monday discussed during a meeting with US ambassador Henry Wooster ways of cementing bilateral relations in the "areas of common interest," especially security training and cooperation.

They also tackled the issues of refugees and human rights.

Faraya said that Jordan deals with the refugee crises at the official and grassroots levels and struggles to meet the refugees' needs as a humanitarian and noble endeavour.

He said relations with the United states are based on understanding on the various challenges and issues of common interest, noting the close cooperation and coordination between the two countries.

Worcester expressed his country's full support of Jordan in the various fields, commending the Kingdom's moderate approach and relentless efforts to promote security and stability in the region.
