Transport Minister, Canadian envoy discuss cooperation

Ammon News - Minister of Transport Wajih Azayzeh, on Tuesday, discussed with Canadian Ambassador Donica Pottie prospects of joint cooperation in the field of transport.

Azayzeh said that Jordan is looking forward to more cooperation in the field of transport between the two countries, voicing the ministry’s hope to open new areas of cooperation in the transportation field. He discussed the key projects that the ministry is implementing, calling on the Canadian private sector to take advantage of investment opportunities in the sector.

The minister stressed that the Kingdom is looking to deepen the partnership, benefit from Canadian expertise, and boost joint cooperation.

For her part, Ambassador Pottie stressed the importance of future projects that the ministry is implementing, expressing her country's willingness to discuss joint cooperation and means to provide the necessary support for these projects.

The envoy commended the Jordanian transportation sector's development over the past ten years to keep pace with the development of this sector internationally.
