The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sunday expressed its "complete" support for Amman and the Jordanian authorities' measures and decisions to uphold peace and stability against sedition.

"Stemming from the historical and strong ties that bind the two fraternal countries and their leadership, the UAE stresses that Jordan's security and stability is part and parcel of its own," the UAE Ministry of Presidential Affairs stated.

Abu Dhabi reiterated its "unflagging" support for the decisions and measures that His Majesty King Abdullah II might need to make to protect Jordan.
