Ammon News - The Board of Directors of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) on Monday called on the government to establish a full partnership with the commerce chambers and refrain from taking decisions without consulting them.
In a statement, the JCC said that the board of directors, after considering the Kingdom’s economic situation, called for relaxing curfew hours to start from 12 midnight until 6am.
The board also urged the Central Bank of Jordan to obligate all banks to put in place a moratorium on repayment of loan instalments during the pandemic, as well as to ease SMEs loans. They also called for issuing a defence order to regulate landlord-tenant relationship, especially for the most affected commercial sectors.
