Ammon News - The Royal Medical Services (RMS) began a Covid-19 vaccination campaign to workers at King Hussein International Airport (KHIA) in port city of Aqaba as part of the national program launched by the airport's security directorate.

In a press statement issued on Wednesday, CEO of Aqaba Airports Company (AAC), KHIA Director, Ramzi Arafat, said the campaign was aimed at immunizing the airport workers against the virus, especially staff who interact with the public directly.

The airport applied standard health procedures approved by the Crisis Cell at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) to curb the virus with a "high level of professionalism," Arafat pointed out.
