Active Covid-19 cases ravage Tafileh governorate, says its health director

Director of Tafileh Health Affairs, Dr. Khaled Khawaldeh, said the epidemiological investigation teams in various regions of southern Tafila governorate are working at "full capacity" to collect samples, who discovered "strong" signals of "active and rapid" coronavirus cases after random surveys and tests were administered.
As a proactive measure, Khawaldeh called on the citizens of the city's main residential vicinity, and its Al-Hasa and Busira districts to take all health requirements and abide by the official instructions to prevent the pandemic's spread.


In a press statement on Saturday, he urged the governorate's citizens to shun social occasions, and stay away from crowded places and gatherings in markets and shops, to preserve public safety.


Moreover, the health official stressed the need to take the necessary preventive and precautionary measures to fight the virus by adhering to wearing face masks, exhibiting physical distancing, and applying health protocols in markets.
