Ammon News - Interior Minister and caretaker health minister Mazen Faraya on Saturday visited a field hospital set up at the government-run Prince Hamza Hospital where he checked firsthand on the level of service provided for coronavirus patients.
Director of the hospital Majid Nussier said that the minister checked on the emergency ward which is designated to receive Covid patients and gave instructions to upgrade services. Nussier noted that bed occupancy now stands at 75 percent, adding that the hospital has 427 beds for coronavirus patients.
Faraya also checked on the service provided at the Amman Field Hospital and on oxygen supply levels, stressing the importance of responding to and addressing any observations and providing all means of comfort for those in isolation.
