Hawatmeh conveys King's greetings, appreciation for PSD personnel in Balqa

Director of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh, conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army, to the PSD personnel operating in the Balqa Governorate, for their efforts and professionalism, and for their quick response to the Al Hussein Salt New Hospital incident.

During his visit to the Balqa Civil Defense Directorate on Monday, Hawatmeh indicated what cadres of the Balqa Civil Defense Directorate, the Balqa Police Department, and the Gendarmerie Brigade in the governorate did in terms of the quick response and their concern for the lives of citizens reflect the level of discipline, readiness and high coordination that had a great impact in reducing the consequences of the accident.

He emphasized that all PSD cadres in the Balqa governorate, western Jordan, set great examples of coordination and joint work, which was demonstrated by their ability and eagerness to respond with efficiency and complementarity in roles to all calls they receive.

He added that the PSD and all its formations are making efforts around the clock to provide security and humanitarian services to everyone in need, and work according to a strategy that supports all state institutions while carrying out their duties according to an integrative role to serve citizens.

Hawatmeh said that the good handling of this incident and other emergencies constitute a proof of the efficiency of operational and logistical plans, and the effectiveness of joint operation rooms in dealing with any emergency, to protect the lives and properties of citizens, "and this is the goal for which we are exerting efforts, in implementation of the royal visions."
