Ammon News - The joint Jordanian-Egyptian technical committee for land transport began its meetings in the port city of Aqaba, aimed to strengthen the existing transport relations between the two countries.
Secretary General of Ministry of Transport, Wisam Tahtamouni, who headed the Jordanian side, opened the committee's two-day discussions, lauding the two countries' keenness to strengthen joint transport relations and overcome difficulties to facilitate transport and trade operations, said ministry's press statement issued on Wednesday.
In turn, CEO of Egyptian Domestic and International Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Sayed Metwali, said the committee will hold regular meetings to serve the transport sector in both countries, added the statement.
