Assistant Secretary-General for Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health, Ghazi Sharkas, said that the optimal way to reduce the epidemiological curve of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) infections is to sense the danger, assume responsibility and adhere to all methods of prevention.

Speaking to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Tuesday, Sharkas called on citizens to undergo tests when feeling symptoms of infection with the virus or if the person came into contact with Covid-19 infected, and the need to strictly implement the home isolation instructions.

"Questioning government procedures and resisting instructions and decisions should be stopped," Sharkas urged, stressing the importance of obtaining information from reliable sources and specialists and avoid rumors and those who claim competence and expertise.

On vaccinations, Sharkas underlined the importance of receiving the vaccine upon availability and not to miss doses specified dates.
