PM mourns death of former media minister Nabil Sharif

Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh, mourned former Minister of Media, Nabil Sharif, who passed away on Saturday.

The premier extended his condolences to the Sharif family, paying tribute to the former minister's great efforts in serving his country.

The late Sharif served as Minister of Media, Minister of State for Media and Communication Affairs, the government official spokesperson, Senator, Ambassador of Jordan to Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of each of the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTC), the Jordan News Agency (Petra) and the Jordan Media Institute (JMI), Editor-in-Chief of Ad-Dustour newspaper, and a professor in the English language departments at the Universities of Yarmouk and Jordan.

The late Sharif holds several local and international honors and certificates.
