Agreement signed to restructure services in 'New Salt Hospital'

Ammon News - Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat, and the President of Balqa Applied University Abdullah Al Zoubi on Wednesday launched the first phase of a project to restructure advanced healthcare services.

Coinciding with Jordan’s centennial, they signed a cooperation agreement that included providing the new Salt Hospital with all the medical specialties it needs from the university.

The agreement aims to provide advanced healthcare services to those covered by a public health insurance plan in Al Hussein Hospital "New Salt Hospital", which offers services to residents of Balqa, the Jordan Valley and West Amman.

Individuals will be able to benefit from the expertise of specialised professors in medical schools without the need to obtain transfers or bearing additional fees. It will also provide an opportunity for medicine students as well as residency and fellowship doctors to benefit from the scientific and training experiences provided by the hospital.
