Ammon News - Senate President, Faisal Fayez, discussed on Wednesday, with the Italian ambassador to Jordan, Fabio Cassese, Jordan-Italy relations and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields.

The discussions also went over a number of issues of common interest, foremost of which is orchestrating joint efforts to overcome the repercussions of the Covid-19 crisis on various sectors, according to a Senate press statement.

To enhance economic ties, the talks also highlighted the importance of increasing Italian investments in the Kingdom, and building economic partnerships between the two countries in various fields, the statement noted.

The two sides stressed the importance of activating various bilateral agreements and strengthening the partnership between businesspeople and the private sector in the two countries.
