Ammon News - State Minister for Media Affairs and government spokesperson, Ali Ayed, offered congratulations on the Arabization of the Jordanian Army command's 65th anniversary, the foundation of the Jordan Radio's 62nd anniversary and on the Amman Day.
In a phone call to a joint broadcast by the Jordan Radio and the Hawa Amman Radio Tuesday morning, Ayed underlined that the decision of His Majesty the late King Hussein Bin Talal to Arabize the Jordanian Army command was a 'brave decision' that cements the values of sovereignty, dignity and freedom, and expresses the resilience and strength of the Jordanian state.
On this occasion, the state minister congratulated His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, and the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army and all security agencies on the 65th anniversary of the Arabization of the Jordanian Army command.
Ayed also stressed that the Jordan Radio is one of the most important media achievements of the state during the past 100 years, and constitutes a national heritage that expresses the authenticity of the Jordanian state, congratulating its employees on the 62nd anniversary of its establishment.
On the Amman Day, Ayed pointed out that the Cabinet designated the day earlier this year to mark the arrival of His Majesty the late Founding King Abdullah I in Amman on March 2, 1921, when Amman became the capital of the Emirate of Transjordan, and later on the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
He pointed to the achievements Amman made over the past 100 years, thanks to the leadership and wisdom of the Hashemites, the effort of the Ammanis, and the generosity of the Arab Army and security services that have given their lives in service of the homeland's security and stability.
