Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi visits Jordanian pavilion at IDEX 2021

Ammon News - His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday visited the pavilion of the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) located in the UAE within the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2021).

Sheikh Mohammed was briefed by the JODDB's Director, Brigadier General Eng. Ayman Al-Batran, on the offered products and the JODDB's technological and service capabilities. Sheikh Mohammed expressed his admiration for the JODDB's work, defense industries and equipment, and the capabilities that the JODDB had reached in the recent years.

Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, also visited the JODDB's pavilion, and was briefed on its offered services and products and expressed his aspiration for cooperation between the UAE army and the JODDB. The UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, also visited the JODDB and checked on its products.

The JODDB has been participating continuously in the IDEX exhibition since its inception, to review the latest developments in the defense industries sector, such as advanced and innovative technology and equipment, and to develop the defense industries sector.

The exhibition is attended by a large number of decision-makers, experts and specialists in the defense industries sector, to discuss ways to develop technologies that help facing changing challenges that the world is witnessing, and to develop security and defense strategies that contribute to achieving and establishing global peace.
