Ammon News - Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) and the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD) announced an expanded Jordanian-Turkish investment forum will be held during next March, with broad participation from the Jordanian private sector and Turkish business community.
This announcement came during a meeting held remotely by the JIC and the TUSIAD, on Wednesday, to promote the investment opportunities available to Turkish companies wishing to enter the Jordanian market, to invest in a number of "promising" sectors.
Speaking during the webinar, Acting JIC Chairman, Fereidoun Hartouga, said Jordan is keen to expand economic and investment cooperation, advance the level of trade exchange with Turkey, and seek to increase cooperation between the two countries, especially in investment fields, as Jordan is rich in "promising and feasible" opportunities for investors.
Hartouga expressed the JIC’s readiness to offer details on the investment opportunities available in Jordan for Turkish investors, and to provide facilitations for businesspeople.
In turn, the Jordanian ambassador to Ankara, Ismail Al-Rifai, referred to the "strong" Jordanian-Turkish relations, the embassy’s support for cooperation efforts between the two countries, and investment promotion, expressing the embassy's willingness to provide facilitations to Turkish business community wishing to invest in Jordan.
