Ammon News - President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) Mashhoor Al Refai has virtually met with a number of owners, directors and official representatives of leading companies and institutions in Jordan and abroad.

The aim of the meeting, organised by the Office of Careers Guidance and Alumni Affairs, was to promote networking between academia and industry, seeking to bridge the gap between the two sectors by discussing frameworks for increasing cooperation in areas of common interest, according to a PSUT statement.

Refai reviewed the university’s most prominent achievements and plans, highlighting the directives of HRH Princess Sumaya, chair of the university's board of trustees, regarding the need to keep pace with global changes in the technological field while seeking to build an effective partnership with local, regional and international companies.

Refai also explained that PSUT was planning to use the feedback provided by the companies and benefit from it in developing and improving its study plans and training programmes.
