Jordan urges calm, restraint after Mogadishu deadly violence

Ammon News - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Saturday expressed profound concern over the deadly violence in the Somali capital Mogadishu, which left a number of people dead and others injured.

Ministry spokesman Daifallah Fayez stressed the need for calm, restraint and avoiding escalation and called for the peaceful solution of disputes through political dialogue and to put the national interest as a top priority to achieve security, stability and peace in the "sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia."

He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured speedy recovery.
