Ammon News - The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZG) and the Jordan Hotels Association (JHA), on Tuesday, signed a cooperation agreement to develop investment in the tourism sector.
In a press statement, the group's Chairman, Khalaf Himeisat, said that the agreement is indicative of the joint efforts between the group and the association to attract and enable investors, and create new investment opportunities in the tourism and hotel sectors, commending the JHA's efforts to overcome the difficulties facing the sector and investors.
The group, Himeisat underlined, competes locally and internationally, offering integrated packages of exemptions and investment incentives, with the aim of creating an investment environment capable of attracting valuable projects that push the national economy forward.
President of the JHA, Abdul Hakim al-Hindi, stressed the importance of boosting the relationship between the association and the group to achieve the aspirations of investors in the tourism sector, pointing out that the challenges facing the economy require a 'real partnership' between the public and private sectors.
