Ammon News - A 3D tour of the Baptism Site is available on ‘visit Jordan from home’ website, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat announced on Wednesday, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The official said that a virtual experience of the Baptism Site would help local and foreign tourists learn more about the site, located on the eastern side of the Jordan River.
The move, made in cooperation of the site’s administration and TimeLooper, is intended to attract tourists to the ancient site, he added. The “visit Jordan from home” website, launched last May, also includes 3D images of several archaeological and tourist sites as well as museums.
