Jordan records JD187mln surplus in trade with U.S.

Ammon News - The Jordan-U.S. trade balance was JD187-million in favor of the Kingdom in the first 11 months of 2020, according to official statistics.

During the January-November period of 2020, the Kingdom's national exports to the U.S. market amounted to JD1.08 billion against JD1.2 billion in the same period of 2019, the figures released Tuesday by the Department of Statistics showed.

In turn, the Kingdom's imports from the U.S. stood at JD 898 million in the same reporting period, down by 11.1 per cent compared with the JD1.03 billion recorded in the same period of 2019.
