Ammon News - The Kingdom's oil bill in the first 11 months of the year dropped by a staggering 48.5 per cent, compared with the same period of 2019, the Department of Statistics (DoS) said on Monday.
The value of the oil bill in the January-November period dropped to JD1.116 billion, compared with JD2.166 billion in the same period of 2019, according to the monthly report.
Crude oil topped the list of the Kingdom's oil imports, amounting to JD364 million, followed by diesel, JD236 million, lubricant oils, JD20 million, gasoline, JD279 million, and unleaded gas, JD215 million.
The Kingdom's total imports for the January-November period of 2020 dipped by 12.4 per cent to JD10.958 billion, compared to JD12.510 billion during the same period of last year.
