Ammon News - Sunny, very cold weather is tipped to prevail almost countrywide on Saturday, meanwhile Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba will see fair conditions, with southeasterly moderate, to active winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

During late night hours, the JMD warns of the risk of frost formation, especially over the highlands and the Badia regions, adding low horizontal visibility is forecast during daylight hours due to dust in the desert areas.

According to the JMD , a slight rise in temperatures will occur during the next two days, and the weather will be cold almost countrywide.

Also on Saturday, mercury in Amman will range between 12 Celsius degree, dipping to 1C during night hours, meanwhile Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 22C, dropping into 9C during night period.
