Jordan records 14 COVID-19 related deaths, 808 infections on Friday

A total of 14 COVID-19 related deaths and 808 cases of the coronavirus disease were recorded in Jordan on Friday.

The capital Amman saw 405 followed by Irbid 210, Zarqa 47, Mafraq 45, Balqaa 29, Jerash 21, Madaba 16, Tafila 14, Aqaba 11, Maan 6, Ajloun 3, and one case in Karak.

The number of cases that required admission to hospitals today stood at 64, while 42 cases have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.

With regard to testing, 19,541 tests were conducted Friday, 4.13 percent of which were positive. The total number of tests conducted since March has increased to 3,534,673.
