Jordan and Saudi Arabia discuss academic cooperation

Ammon News - Chairman of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions, Dr. Dhafer Sarayreh, discussed on Wednesday, with the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Jordan, Issa Rumaih, joint scientific and cultural cooperation to develop the academic education system under "exceptional" circumstances.

Speaking during the meeting, Sarayreh lauded the "deep-rooted" Jordanian-Saudi relations at the higher education level, indicating that Saudi students receive attention in Jordanian universities.

For his part, Rumaih praised the Jordanian higher education institutions and the "distinguished" scientific and their educational status regionally and internationally.
The Saudi Ministry of Higher Education mulls plans to approve the "largest" number of Jordanian universities soon, according to a commission statement.
