Khasawneh's Gov't secures vote of confidence

The Lower House of Parliament voted Wednesday 88-38 with 1 abstention to grant a confidence vote to the government of Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh.

Khasawneh thanked the MP's and emphasized that the government will work in close cooperation with the Lower House to meet the aspirations of His Majesty King Abdullah II to serve Jordanians and achieve more against the backdrop of the "exceptional phase" the world is going through.
