On Wednesday, mercury levels will continue to rise, exceeding their seasonal average by around 7-8 degrees, with southwesterly brisk winds, blowing dust in the southern and eastern areas of the country, the JMD added. Toward night, the Kingdom will be affected by a cold and wet air mass, bringing cloudy skies with a chance of scattered showers in many regions, the JMD noted. Temperatures in Amman for today will reach a high of 20 degrees Celsius, dropping into 7C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a sunny 26C, sliding into 15C during night time.
