On Monday, a further rise in mercury levels is forecast, bringing mild conditions until Tuesday in most regions, and relatively warm weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with southeasterly moderate winds, the department noted.
Temperatures in Amman for today will reach a high of 18 degrees Celsius, dropping into 7C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a sunny 26C, sliding into 15C during night time.
