World Bank grants JD500 thousand to Maan municipality

Ammon News - The Maan Municipality has received two grants worth half a million Jordanian dinars from the World Bank to support infrastructure projects in the city.

Mayor of Maan Akram Krishan told Petra the first grant worth JD268 thousand Jordanian dinars will be allocated for asphalt mixtures to pave new streets, adding that the work in these projects is scheduled to begin next month.

Krishna noted a second grant worth JD240 thousand Jordanian dinars from the USAID will be used to build new garages that will contribute to municipality's fleet maintenance.
