Ammon News - The Jordanian Paralympic Committee (JPC) lauded the "deep" relations with Kuwait in various sports fields, calling for more cooperation and coordination in a way that serves the athletic activities.
During a meeting held on Tuesday, Kuwait's Ambassador to Jordan, Aziz Dihani, and Chairman of the JPC, Hussein Abu Ruz and its Secretary-General, Maha Barghouti, discussed ways to develop sports relations between the two countries.
The discussions also went over Jordanian paralympic teams' readiness to participate in the upcoming foreign tournaments, especially Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, according to a JPC press statement issued on Wednesday.
The Kuwaiti ambassador praised the committee’s efforts over the past period to rehab disabled players for Arab, continental and international tournaments, especially the upcoming Tokyo championship, the statement pointed out.
