Ammon News - The Bangladesh Embassy in Amman held Tuesday a virtual symposium to mark the 49th "Victory day of Bangladesh" that saw the participation of Palestinian and Jordanian diplomats.
Nahida Sobhan, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Jordan, said "the history of Bangladesh’s independence is associated with the life and leadership of our father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman," highlighting that the mission intends to arrange a series of webinars on various aspects of the Father of the Nation’s life and struggles as part of the Embassy’s plans for Mujib Barsha.
The event emphasized the strong and "distinguished" ties between participant nations, and their continued cooperation. The participants lauded the comprehensive development model that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had defended hard and the development politics of Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina.
The webinar saw the participation of Director of the Asian and Australian Affairs Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Zuhair Ensour, Palestinian Foreign Minister, Dr. Riad Maliki and Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Dr. A K Abdul Momen, in addition to representatives from Bahrain, Russia and Afghanistan.
