A cold air mass is forecast to continue impacting the Kingdom on Monday, bringing cold weather conditions in most regions and southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
In the evening and toward night, the weather will become chilly with a possibility of frost formation over highlands and in the Badia, the JMD said.
The weather department also warned of frost formation in the early morning hours over highlands, and of low horizontal visibility due to dust in the Badia regions.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing relatively cold conditions in most regions, and mild weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with southeasterly moderate winds.
Temperatures in Amman for today will reach 12 Celsius degrees, dropping to 5C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 25C, sliding into 13C during night time.
