Ammon News - A TikTok user named @tameekalal has gone viral online after sharing a hilarious video of a man opening a rather mean gift from a loved one on Christmas Day.

When it comes to Christmas gifts, some people like to find the perfect present, while others prefer prank items.

One family from America clearly has a tradition of getting each other hilarious stuff and this year they've gone viral as a result.

A TikTok user named @tameekalal shared a video of a young man opening a brutal gift from his godmother, who they refer to as his 'Nanny'.

In the clip, the unnamed man is handed a small present bag with red and white tissue paper inside.

Before opening it he seems to already know that something is amiss.

Reaching into the bag, he says: "I swear to god if this is coal or some stupid thing".

But instead of a lump of coal, he pulls a candle out of the wrapping.

As he does so the person filming asks if he can turn it to the camera so Nanny can see.

He does and on the front is a label which reads: "PS5 CANDLE.

"Smells like you're not getting one."

His family immediately begin laughing at the whole thing, while the man proclaims that the gift is "foul".

More than two million people have watched the hilarious clip so far, with it garnering over 549,000 likes.

Thousands of people also commented on it with many finding the gift amusing.

One person wrote: "Ouch. That coal sounds pretty good rn doesn't it?"

Another said: "Not gonna lie, that was a good one."

"Nanny is hysterical," proclaimed someone else.

A fourth commented: "Oh damn!"

"I love your Nanny," added a different user.

"Foul but funny. Something my mother would do," replied a sixth.

Others joked they would be buying similar candles for birthday gifts next year.
