A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Sunday, so it will be relatively cold in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be fair, with clouds at different altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Light and scattered showers are also forecast in the eastern and south-eastern regions, while winds will be south-easterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia areas, the JMD added.
The weather department warned of frost formation in the early morning hours and midnight over highlands, low horizontal visibility due to dust in the Badia regions, and the risk of slippery roads in the areas experiencing rain.
Monday is expected to bring in similar cold weather in much of the country with low clouds and south-easterly moderate to active winds, the JMD noted.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Tuesday, bringing relatively cold conditions in most regions, and mild weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with south-easterly moderate winds.
Temperatures in Amman for today will reach 13 Celsius degrees, dropping to 4C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, sliding into 13C during night time.
