Ammon News - The weather will be cold almost countrywide, and fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with southeasterly moderate winds, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
During night, clouds gradually cover the Kingdom's farthest southern regions with a "weak" possibility for scattered showers of rain there, and frost is tipped to form in the highlands and Badia districts, the JMD update noted.
The JMD has warned of low horizontal visibility due to dust in the Badia regions, and the risk of slippery roads during the night hours in the Kingdom's farthest south, due to rain downpour.
During the next two days, the weather will remain cold almost countrywide, the JMD report showed.
Also on Saturday, mercury levels in Amman range between 16 Celsius degrees, dropping to 4C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 23C, sliding into 11C during night time.
