Ammon News - The Public Security Department (PSD) announced Wednesday that it referred two persons to court to face charges related to damaging and desecrating a graveyard in the Russiefeh district, east.

A PSD spokesman said the Russiefeh police directorate was alerted Tuesday night that a group of persons were gathering and protesting in the town's old cemetery after a person used a bulldozer to expand a road inside the graveyard but, in the process, desecrated and damaged some graves.

The spokesman added that the driver of the bulldozer and the person who had requested him to do so were arrested pending further legal action.
