Ammon News - Jordan on Thursday welcomed the official removal of Sudan from the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism, hoping the decision would support peace and stability in the African Arab nation.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates voiced hope that this decision would contribute to supporting the transitional phase and enhancing security, stability and peace in Sudan, and usher in a new horizon of economic growth that meet the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people for growth and prosperity.
