Ammon News - A woman looking for her kitten eventually found her hiding in the Christmas tree where she was perfectly 'camouflaged' - can you spot the cat?

A photo of a Christmas tree has been causing a stir as people try to find the kitten hidden within the branches.

Sarah Nelson McGuiness was looking for her 13-week-old kitten, Moon and eventually found the little feline in her very own 'secret spot'.

The adorable baby cat had climbed into the Christmas tree and ended up being completely camouflaged against the other fluffy white decorations.

Sarah, 40, couldn't find her pet for ages, but after staring at the tree for a long time, she finally saw two eyes spying on her.

The full-time carer from Liverpool decided to take a picture of the tree and shared it on social media to see if other people spot her hidden British short hair cat - and it's subsequently been driving some of her pals "mad" as they try and fail to find Moon.

Speaking about the photo, Sarah, who is a mum-of-two, said: "One day, I was looking for Moon and she was nowhere to be found.

"I checked the tree and couldn't see her at first as I have white deers and fox teddies on it. She probably wants to be apart of their gang!

"It is also a white frosted tree which doesn't help as she is white.

"Eventually, I saw two little eyes spying on me."

She continued: "I had to take a photo because I couldn't believe how well camouflaged she was.

"I shared it online for a bit of fun.

"Friends have messaged saying 'please tell me where is she' because it was racking their brains.

"Some have spent over ten minutes looking for her and said it is driving them mad!"

Sarah only got Moon recently, but quickly learned that the kitten loves to climb, so her new hiding place shouldn't have come as a surprise.

She added: "If she isn't stealing the baubles to play with - she is up the tree. "She's fell asleep in it a few times.

"I do take her straight out when I notice her in the tree because I would hate for her to fall.

"I think she likes being in the tree because she can see everyone but we can't see her."
