Ammon News - General-Secretary of Health ministry, Wa'el Alhayajneh, said that the world is in conflict to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine.


In a press conference on Tuesday, he said that after 2 days of COVID-19 vaccine registration in the United States of America, the vaccine was granted emergency-use license in Jordan.


There is no medicine or vaccine with 100% safety and efficacy rate as the vaccine prevents the infection with a rate of 90%, he indicated.

The side effects may occur but it is not dangerous and it should be monitored as it is related to the general feelings of body, indicating that any vaccine has side effects, he added.
