Foreign Ministry follows up on shooting of Jordanian in Indiana

The Foreign Ministry on Monday said it was following up on a shooting incident of Jordanian citizen in the US state of Indiana.

The 24-year-old citizen was hit with several bullets, and was admitted to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment, the Ministry's spokesperson Ambassador Deifallah Fayez said in a statement, noting that he was listed in a stable condition.

He said that the Jordanian embassy in Washington is following up with his family to check on his health condition, provide all possible assistance, and contact local authorities to uncover the circumstances of the accident.
