Iraqi forces kill 42 terrorists in Mosul

Ammon News - Iraqi forces killed 42 armed terrorists in the northern city of Mosul Sunday, according to the Iraqi Armed Forces.

Maj. Gen. Yahya Rasouls, the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, said that the armed forces carried out an operation against Daesh fighters, adding that the armed forces threw grenades in tunnels in caves in northern Mosul that the Daesh fighters had been using to launch operations and shelter, killing 42 of them.

The Iraqi Air Force and the Global Coalition to Counter the Daesh also carried out sorties against the Daesh fighters to support the operation.
