Ammon News - During the past 11 months,2020, the value of certificates of origin issued by the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) for exported goods to Arab and foreign countries has amounted to JD789 million, compared to JD896 million for the same period last year, According to ACC statistics.
The number of certificates of origin issued by the ACC during the January-November period reached 29,232, compared to 35,502 certificates for the same period last year, the ACC figures showed.
7,684 ACC's certificates headed to Saudi Arabia, followed by The United Arab Emirates with 4,056, Iraq 1,278, Egypt 709, and Switzerland 40, the data revealed.
In terms of value, Iraq topped the list of export destinations with JD180 million, worth of goods and commodities, and Switzerland and The United Arab Emirates followed at JD125 million and JD123 million, respectively, then came Saudi Arabia at about JD67 million and Egypt JD47 million, the figures showed.
