Ammon News - The weather on Wednesday and Thursday is expected to be moderate nationwide, with clouds at various altitude and southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

A slight in mercury levels is forecast on Friday, but similar fair weather will remain during the day, the JMD added, noting that clouds will gradually build up, bringing partly cloudy skies with spotty showers accompanied by thunder at times in the northern and central regions, while winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia areas.

Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 21 degrees Celsius in Amman, 18 in the northern cities and 19 in the southern highlands, dropping down at night to 11, 9 and 7C respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 29 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 18 degrees at night.
