Ammon News - The Minister of State for Media Affairs and the government spokesman, Ali Al-Ayed, said that the government takes the decisions based on scientific bases and deep scrutiny of each option. The government studies all options and the priority is to maintain the healthy body to deal with the infections.

The healthy body in Jordan is capable of dealing with COVID-19 infections and the capacity of hospitals is fine. The minister added.

The minister stressed that the government has the right to study all options and decisions and no full lockdown decision has been announced until now.

The minister explained that the people's commitment will protect the society from COVID-19 and its consequences as the vaccine, now, is face masks and social distancing where the people's commitment will determine the decisions to be taken.
