Police said Monday they seized 3 automatic rifles and 5 hand weapons used in firing during celebrations across the Kingdom following the announcement of the results of last week's parliamentary elections.

A Public Security Department spokesman said a special team had been assigned to investigate videos that went viral on social media showing individuals firing in the air to celebrate the results of Tuesday's polls in some regions of the country.
