A Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh, approved the mandating reasons for a draft amending the system of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) Officer cadre system for the year 2020, and a draft amending the system of JAF Personnel cadre for the year 2020.
The amendment of the two systems follows Royal directives, which emphasize the need to improve the living conditions of retired military personnel, and aims at increasing the value of the long end of service gratuity for officers and members of the armed forces who are referred to retirement, which has not been modified since 2006.
The Cabinet also approved the mandating reasons for the draft amendment system for the system of equalizing general secondary certificate for the year 2020, which aims to regulate the study of general secondary education abroad, and to achieve justice in university admission among holders of a high school diploma from abroad and those who obtained it from Jordan.
Also, the government agreed to cancel services fees for importing oil derivatives via transit (through land ports).
On the other hand, the government decided to appoint Amjad Adaileh as Jordan's Ambassador to Egypt, and Jordan's permanent representative to the League of Arab States.
