13 people infected with the COVID-19 virus have managed to vote in Madaba

Ammon News - Some people infected with the COVID-19 virus have attempted to participate in the parliamentary election. Muhammed Al-rafayeh, the governor of Aqaba said to Al-Mamlakeh TV.

He adds that legal actions have been taken against them after they tried to participate in the election.


In Madaba, 13 people infected with COVID-19 have actually participated in the current parliamentary election as the polling centers have been sanitized and disinfected after they voted.

It is worth-mentioning that people infected with COVID-19 are prevented to vote according to a decision approved by the government. This action is regarded as a crime according to the Health Ministry law provisions and defense order (8).
